Can propanol be used in the Varispenser?

Yes. The Varispenser is resistant to propanol. Since propanol has a low vapor pressure, it may escape through the nozzle. We therefore recommend precooling the instrument.

Yes. The spring system of the spring-loaded platinum-iridium valve ball comes into contact with the liquid during dispensing.

The 25 ml Combitip is recognized by EDOS 5222 upwards of device number 831 and software version 3.02.

What do you recommend with regard to sterile operation of Varispenser / Varispenser plus after the dispensing system has been autoclaved?

To guarantee sterile operation of Varispenser / Varispenser plus, we recommend inserting a membrane filter into the cone opening on the base of the device. This prevents the autoclaved system from coming into contact with non-sterile ambient air. Sterile PTA membrane filters (0.45 μm) are available from us under the order no. 4420 803.007.

Does the display of Top Buret inform users in advance when the battery has to be replaced?

Yes. If the voltage is too low (or if the battery is flat), a battery symbol lights up in top left of the LCD. The battery should then be changed.

Is Top Buret supplied with a calibration certificate?
