특징 

 

  • 글루타민 대사는 암세포의 에너지 생성, 증식, 생존, 전이를 지원하는 데 중요한 과정입니다. 암 관련 섬유아세포(CAFs)는 암세포에 글루타민을 공급하고, 글루타민을 프롤린(proline)으로 전환해 콜라겐 생성을 유도함으로써 종양 성장, 침윤, 전이를 촉진합니다.
  • 또한, 종양 관련 대식세포(TAMs), 특히 M2-유사 형질을 가진 세포들(M2-like TAMs)은 종양 성장, 혈관 신생(angiogenesis), 면역 억제 등을 통해 종양을 유리하게 만드는 효과(pro-tumoral effects)를 나타냅니다.
  • 글루타민 대사는 M2형 TAMs의 분화(polarization)를 유도하며, 이는 암의 진행을 촉진합니다.
